Fused Dichroic Glass Tiles:
Each fused dichroic glass tile is an original design and is created by combining multiple layers of fusible and dichroic glass pieces. The colors are layered to often bring out a multi-dimensional look often with variances in color at different angles. The pieces are fused in a glass kiln at over 1400 degrees to melt the glass together. They are then often fused a second or third time to “slump” the glass into the desired shape. Upon completion, the tiles are often 2 to 4 layers of glass thick which gives them great strength and durability despite their fragile nature
