Lamp-worked Glass Bead Earrings:
Each lamp-worked glass bead is created from Moretti Italian glass rods and melted over a torch onto a heated steel mandrel. The colors are applied one at a time and as the bead becomes molten over the heat of the fire, it allows the colors to be blended and swirled into magical patterns. They are then cooled (annealed) overnight and the true vibrancy and colors are not revealed for many hours (similar to waiting to open a Christmas present!) The beads are prepped and cleaned and then combined with sterling silver or gold filled wire and Swarovski crystals to create these unique and fun one-of-a-kind glass bead earrings.
