Fused Dichroic Glass Pendulums:
Each pendulum is designed and created by combining multiple layers of special fusible colored and dichroic glass pieces. The glass is hand-cut and layered to create unique designs and a beautiful "point" characteristic of a pendulum. The glass is fused in a kiln at over 1400 degrees and slowly cooled (annealed) to prevent cracking. Each piece is signed by the artist and given a “title” which characterizes its unique attributes. The beads are created with a torch using Moretti Italian glass rods melted over a torch onto a heated steel mandrel. The colors are applied one at a time and as the bead becomes molten over the heat of the fire, it allows the colors to be blended and swirled into magical patterns. The two pieces are then combined with Swarovski crystals and wire wrapped with Sterling Silver to create these one-of-a-kind dichroic glass pendulums.
Each pendulum comes in a beautiful coral organza gift pouch and with instructions for use. |
